You can enroll only at certain times throughout the year.

  • As an employee, you can enroll during the annual open enrollment period.
  • If you are a new hire, your employer determines the waiting period for benefits to become effective. Upon eligibility, you will have 30 days to enroll or waive coverage.
  • Employees enrolling due to a midyear election change must enroll or waive coverage within 30 days from the date of the midyear election change.

When Can I Enroll?

How do I Make Changes?

Open Enrollment is the one time each year that employees can make changes to their benefit elections without a midyear election change event.

  • You will need to notify your benefits team right away if you have a midyear election change and need to make a change to your benefit elections (you only have 30 days from the day of a midyear election change to make any changes).
  • Qualified changes in status include, for example: marriage, divorce, legal separation, spouse's change of employment status, birth or adoption of a child.
