Paid Family and Medical Leave
Eligible employees will receive a maximum of 16 weeks of paid leave pursuant to this policy in any rolling 12 month period. Leave may be taken for any one, or for a combination, of the following reasons:
- Up to 12 weeks of Parental Leave to care for and bond with the employee’s child after birth, or placement for adoption or foster care;
- Up to 12 weeks of Medical Leave to care for the employee’s spouse, child, or parent who has a serious health condition; and/or
- Up to 12 weeks of Medical Leave for the employee’s own serious health condition (including any period of incapacity due to pregnancy, prenatal medical care or childbirth) that makes the employee unable to perform one or more of the essential functions of the employee’s job.

Sabbatical
Wunderkind offers employees 4 weeks of paid leave every 5 years of service. These paid leave amounts cannot be stacked.
Paid Time Off (PTO)
Wunderkind offers employees an Unlimited PTO plan starting in 2025.
Paid Sick Time
Wunderkind offers employees 7 total days of Paid Sick Time Off. Sick Time is front-loaded upon your start date and the total balance refreshes on January 1.
Bereavement Leave
Wunderkind understands that the death of a family member or close friend is an extremely difficult time in a person’s life. With that in mind, we have set out to create a bereavement policy that allows all of our employees the time they need to grieve their loss.
- Up to thirty (30) days of paid leave for the death of an immediate family member (spouse, domestic partner, stepchild, child, pregnancy loss).
- Up to fifteen (15) days of paid leave for the death of a near-family member (sibling, parent, stepparent, mother-in-law, father-in-law, grandchild)
- Up to five (5) days of paid leave for the death of an outer-family member (grandparent, aunt, uncle, cousin, close friend)

Jury and Witness Duty
Wunderkind encourages all employees to fulfill their civic responsibilities and to respond to jury service summonses or subpoenas, attend court for prospective jury service, or serve as a juror or witness under court order.
Employees on jury duty leave are paid for time spent on jury duty service in accordance with applicable state law, however, exempt employees are paid their full salary for any week in which they perform authorized work for the Company.
Time Off to Vote
Wunderkind encourages all employees to vote, and therefore offers US employees the ability to work from home or take time off separate from their PTO on election day to make it easier for employees to cast their vote.
