You’re still responsible for paying the cost of your care. The payment you get isn’t based on the size of your medical bill, and there may be a limit on how much this policy will pay each year. This policy isn’t a substitute for comprehensive health insurance. Since this policy isn’t health insurance, it doesn’t have to include most Federal consumer protections that apply to health insurance.

Coverage is available for employees and their dependents, with employee face amounts ranging from $10,000 up to $150,000. In addition to permanent life insurance protection, this two-in-one coverage includes benefits for long-term care services that employees can access during their lifetimes to help pay for the high cost of LTC. The plan also builds cash value over time, which can be borrowed against or used to purchase a smaller paid-up policy with no additional premiums due.

Once coverage is purchased, employees can keep it as long as they want.
