Prescription (Rx) Plan Design
Express Scripts
The District has decided to place a one-year moratorium on the planned pharmacy benefit changes that were previously communicated. As a result, the current prescription drug coverage will remain in place for the upcoming plan year, and the changes affecting certain preventive brand-name medications will not take effect at this time. This delay is intended to give employees and covered family members additional time to work with their healthcare providers, review treatment options, and evaluate potential alternatives to brand-name medications before any future changes are considered.

Account & 90-Day Home Delivery
Create an Account
Create an Express Scripts account by visiting Express-Scripts.com or using the mobile app, selecting "Register," and entering your member ID or SSN. The process takes a few minutes, enabling you to manage prescriptions, compare prices, and order home delivery. All household members over 18 must register separately.
90-Day Home Delivery
Express Scripts home delivery provides 90-day supplies of maintenance medications shipped free with 24/7 pharmacist support. It is designed for chronic conditions, offering convenience with automatic refills, secure packaging (including temperature-controlled), and typically 2-4 day shipping. Patients often save on copays compared to multiple 30-day refills.
SaveOnSP Program
Specialty medications can cost a lot of money. That’s why your plan offers a copay assistance benefit administered by SaveOnSP, which can help you lower your out-of-pocket costs.
You’ll pay a reduced cost for your medication after you complete the enrollment process and give SaveOnSP permission to monitor your pharmacy account. If you choose not to participate in the plan benefit, you’ll pay a higher coinsurance when you fill your medication.
