Who is eligible?
Salaried employees working 30 or more hours per week are eligible for the benefits outlined in this overview.
For medical, hourly employees averaging 30 or more hours per week over a 12-month measurement period are eligible.
For dental and vision, hourly employees averaging 30 or more hours per week over a 90-day period are eligible.
Your spouse (the person you are legally married to under state law per our working spouse rule)
Your children under the age of 26 are eligible to enroll
When can I enroll?
You can enroll only at certain times throughout the year.
- As an employee, you can enroll during the annual open enrollment period.
- If you are a newly hired employee, you must enroll or waive coverage within 30 days of your eligibility period (1st of the month following 30 days).
- Employees enrolling due to a qualifying event must enroll or waive coverage within 30 days from the date of the qualifying event.
How do I make changes?
Open Enrollment is the one time each year that employees can make changes to their benefit elections without a qualifying life event.
- You will need to notify Human Resources right away if you have a qualifying life event and need to make a change to your benefit elections (you only have 30 days from the day of a qualifying event to make any changes).
- Qualified changes in status include, for example: marriage, divorce, legal separation, spouses change of employment status, birth or adoption of a child.
